The O Interior do Muro Invisível is, with no doubt, an experience of perceptions.
Are we willing to understand all of the infinite sides of ourselves? We never are; rather we are always becoming. In an eternal metamorphosis, when we go beyond of our defensive walls, oftentimes we face an unknown universe. Getting to know it, is not always easy, pretty or peaceful. The unpredictability and instability of one’s permanent state of mind as well as the great memories of the world, is as scary as the ocean.
The human being complexity is certainly due to his inner labyrinth of fears, interactions, moments, and often, illusions. When art questions life, it seeks to unscramble such feelings that coexist – harmonically or not – inside the human mind. However, it is usually in this urgency in defining and separating the past, present and future, that we fail to see the fluidity between the three. Throughout our existence, we carry within us both what we once were and what we want to be. The great mosaic of our present is composed of fragments of past experiences
and dreams for the future.
In this series, Gatti makes a toast to the human existence and encourages us to venture into the hidden fragility behind our defensive walls. The artist uses a combination of artistic influences to represent, in each photo, our eternal restart.
The photographic superpower of paralyzing time is capable of registering this essentially uncomfortable shifting. After all, what is photography if not the art of eternalizing something that will never be the same?

Estamos nós dispostos a entender todas as infinitas facetas de nós mesmos?
Nunca somos, sempre estamos. Em eterna metamorfose, quando vamos além de nosso escudo superficial, muitas vezes nos deparamos com um novo universo antes desconhecido. Conhecê-lo nem sempre é fácil, bonito ou pacífico. A imprevisibilidade e instabilidade do estado permanente de ser é assustadora tal como imensidão do mar e, também como o mar, é um dos grandes mistérios do mundo.
A complexidade do ser humano certamente se dá por seu labirinto interior, de medos, palavras trocadas, momentos e, por vezes, ilusões. A arte quando questiona a vida, busca decifrar essas incógnitas e sentimentos que coexistem — harmoniosamente ou não — dentro da mente humana. No entanto, muitas vezes é nessa urgência em definir e separar o passado, presente e futuro, que falhamos em enxergar a fluidez entre os três. Quando somos, carregamos em nós tanto o que fomos um dia quanto o que queremos ser. Fragmentos de nossas vivências do passado e sonhos para futuro o fazem parte do grande mosaico de nosso presente.
Nessa série, Gatti brinda a existência e nos instiga a se aventurar na fragilidade escondida atrás desse muro armado por nós mesmos. Usando uma mistura de influências artísticas para representar, em cada foto, nosso eterno recomeço. O superpoder fotográfico de paralisar o tempo é capaz de registrar esse inconstante essencialmente incômodo. Afinal, o que é a fotografia se não a arte de eternizar algo que não é e jamais poderá ser o mesmo?
